Unichem Cashel Pharmacy
Our client approached us with a brief to push the boundaries of a standard Unichem Chemist in New Zealand, with a strong focus on natural health. The site was long and narrow with three sides in glass, three entrances and only one wall to fit the dispensary and back of house areas.
Eye catching shopfronts incorporate the Unichem branding and a series of small feature displays including large digital walls recessed into green angular panels with multiple views into the store.
The ceiling transitions from white plaster to a long angular green feature leading you to the rear with contrasting timber baffles and T& G ceilings, recessed planter boxes and ferns over a dedicated natural health area. Lighting has been planned carefully to accentuate project and create ambiance throughout.
Wall fixtures are framed in accent colours floating in a grooved white and veneer backpanels with strong departmental and category signage.
At all times irregular angles, textures and shapes are reinforced with the addition of routre cuts to veneer panels and recessed leaf walls. Sales counters are also irregular and columns vary per department they are serving.
Woodplank vinyl flooring at the front and rear accentuate them and lead to a centre soft zone of carpet tile with an irregular pattern of green inserts.
